Setting up/obtaining a domain name

If you already have a domain name

If you already have a domain name from before or have recently purchased one, you have the option to use it for your ShopiBoo online store. In this case, after placing your order, you will receive an email with the exact details and instructions on what to configure and set up at the domain registrar (where you registered the domain and where your domain management interface is located) – if you’re not sure how to do this yourself.

There will be a 24-48 hour transition period during which the name servers will refresh. This means that it may take up to 24-48 hours for the new information to propagate throughout the domain network servers…

If you don’t have a domain name yet

In this case, you’ll need to purchase a domain name for your online store. You can do this at almost any domain registrar of your choice. But soon, we will also be able to assist you with this…

When choosing a domain, it’s a good idea to ensure it reflects your identity or service, and ideally, opt for a short and easily memorable domain name. Currently, we can only accept .com domain names. It’s often not easy to come up with a truly good domain name that is also available. Therefore, this typically requires a significant amount of time and thought, as changing a domain name for an already established website is much more challenging later on.
