What will I need to get started?

The following steps are necessary for the webshop to be fully functional for the public (in order):

  1. Ordering the ShopiBoo webshop
    • If you don’t have a domain, we will purchase it for you
    • If you have a domain, we will send you what needs to be set up for the domain
  2. Providing basic data in the admin interface
    • Basic company details
    • Tax settings
    • Setting up delivery methods
    • Setting up payment methods (for card payments, see: Payment Method Settings)
  3. Product management
    • Basic product settings (product categories, etc.)
    • Adding products
    • Configuring the webshop menu (typically displaying product categories in the menu)
  4. Legal compliance
    • Data management information
    • General terms and conditions
    • Impressum
    • Contact details

And that’s essentially all that needs to be done – and you can start promoting your products and kickstart the sales process!

The time required for each task can vary, but here’s a rough estimate:

  1. Setting up domain settings:
    • Purchasing a domain name: 1-2 working days.
    • Redirecting an existing domain: Approximately 24-48 hours
  2. Providing basic data: 10-20 minutes.
  3. Product setup and product uploading: The time can vary depending on the number of products and data, ranging from a few minutes to a few hours.
  4. We can configure these settings within 24 hours once you provide the content.

So, once domain settings are in place and you can access the webshop admin interface, you can essentially have a fully functional webshop up and running within approximately 24 hours.
